Jurisdiction Specific eFiling Information has been added to the Resources menu to help speed up your eFiling and avoid having your eFiling returned for correction.
New Courts To be Added to eFiling (April 23, 2014)
Several new jurisdictions are expected to begin accepting eFiling. County courts in Grayson, Midland, Randall and Montgomery counties are scheduled be avaiable for eFiling before the end of April. In addition, County and Distrcit Courts in Cherokee County should be added to the eFiling system by the end of April. July 1, 2014 is the mandated eFiling deadline for courts in counties with populations of 200,000 to 499,999.
Technology Standards by the Judicial Committee on Information Technology Approved (April 15, 2014)
The Judicial Committee on Information Technology issued new Technology Standards on March 21, 2014. The publication includes standards for Case Categories, Case Types and Filing Types that will be adopted by all state courts within 60 days of the issue date. Also included are a list of reasons an eFiling may be returned for correction or not accepted.
