Document Filing Process- Initial Filing
• | Pleading is the Lead document any exhibits are added separately as attachments. Do not combine attachments, load each separately. |
Document Filing Process- Subsequent filings
• | Motions and Orders are filed as separate lead documents. Cover letters are not necessary when submitting an Order. |
• | How do I submit proposed orders? The District Clerk has made “Proposed Order” as a filing code. You will need to select “Proposed Order” as your filing code. Your submission will be forwarded to the court coordinator for review. The coordinator will add a note to the document regarding whether the proposed order will be submitted to the court for signature or will not be signed for some reason. The District Clerk’s office will “accept” the document which will provide you with the information regarding your submission. If the proposed order is signed by the Court, a copy will be emailed for faxed to you. Please do not e-file orders on a case with a hearing, you will need to present your order to the judge at the hearing. This business process may possibly change so please check back for any updates. |
